Any fee the NWP is paying SMART is chump change in relation to the cost of rebuilding the trackage for SMART and the damages due to SMART by being limited to FRA-AAR rules and the impossibility of flyovers and anything with a gradient a streetcar could handle but not lumbering freight which groans at 1%.

The putative imbroglio between SMART and NWP is totally phony. It is a good ol' boy thing and Bosco is the local power broker. SMART and NWP need to really get into it such they annihilate each other and GGT comes in to pick up the pieces.
