CHSRA is a poorly planned, mismanaged fiasco of the first order, but the rest of your comments are short loads that don't penetrate.....

You do know that CA gets only about 90 cents on the dollar that we contribute in Federal Transportation Funds, right? California has been short changed about 20 billion dollars, in transportation funds alone, over the last 20 years. And, I can build a lot of freeway and train for that kind of money.

And, you do know that California actually gets only about 93 cents on the dollar of the total of all Federal taxes paid by Californian's.... California, being one of the top ten states for education, is one of the wealthiest and highest income states, and thus pays much more in Federal Taxes, and gets much less back.

So, from that perspective, California would actually be billions of dollars better off, every single year, if we did secede and kept our money here.

If you too often shoot first, and ask questions later....don't be surprised when you end up in the ER to treat the wound to your own foot.
