I heard from an engineer that there is some sort of "cruise control" like programming now on the BNSF where based on tonnage and terrain and desired speed the locomotives automatically vary power? I wasn't real clear on what he was talking about. Can anyone elaborate? I don't think he was talking about like what UP's AC44CTE's do.
