It is I who left RYPN on my own after a moderator, Jeff L. started two threads in my name and who also (on his own) censored me because he had a few complaints about how I handled posts related to the Big South Fork in KY. The one who has started this "Save RYPN Thread" is a lawyer in Salt Lake City who in his own post admitted to taking a shot at me and my company. This same lawyer, as smart as he is (and as young as he is) has very little experience and does not understand the situation that my company was placed in when a poster on RYPN posted pictures of a project that A.) he has stolen from a web page and B.) then used to defame my company and C.) also used the same information to cause my company to lose two contracts as a result of the inflammatory letters sent by this poster to my prospective customers. Rather than the Moderator (named above) doing the right thing to stop illegal activities on RYPN, gagging me and starting posts in my name was the better option for him, which is sad as the same moderator also works for a company in direct competition with my company and he saw this as no big deal. The lawyer also has no issue with it as well.

How does this apply to AP:

Easy; AP could very easily slide down the slippery road of being moderated, having rules that are judged by moderators who, once they get pissed off because they have no moral standing then start to rule with an iron fist, feeling that they can manipulate things. I find it interesting that the first few posters on the save RYPN post are A.) a lawyer and B.) the immoral moderator who resigned but them came back to defend himself.

The problem with our society and these pages is that it has created a forum for people who have no moral value to say and (to the misfortune of Wasatch) do anything, regardless of how legal or immoral it may be. These forums allow us to hide behind fake names, take shots at others, make comments like the one above mine that are snide and ill pointed and NOBODY does a thing about it until a guy like me who lives by this hobby stands up to defend himself....then....y'all want to call me a cry baby, or a whiner or what ever when I actually have 30 jobs to defend, customers to protect and a business to keep healthy....but y'all wanna call me names for defending what I have a right to defend. Or, moderators like those on RYPN simply decide to take matters into their own hands and censor people like me or start posts in my name. Both are wrong.

I left RYPN never to return. I'll post here and I am watching all of the pages. I also left TO. I don't need to pay to have the $%#@ kicked out of me. So there you have it. AP will (if it is not already) go down the same path as this is what we have allowed our free speech (and heavily moderated) society to become. You can either share my feelings and views (or in the case of RYPN) you can be censored and kicked off or leave on your own. I left on my own, care of Jeff L.
