Tommy...the dam did not break, and there is nothing wrong with Del Oro or Sacramento. The spillway leading from Lake Oroville to the Feather River collapsed, but the dam itself is in no danger. Its doing it's job.

We have had unusually heavy rainfall this winter, and this derailment was most likely caused by the Consumnes River overflowing it's banks. KCRA, a local news agency out of Sacramento, is also reporting three levee breaches in the same general area, although they're probably not related.
