I was at the meeting where this issue was brought up, several people tried to shame SMART for disregarding San Rafael's request. SMART pointed out that the city knew the transit center was an issue 25 years ago and did nothing. In a nutshell, SMART esentially looked at San Rafael and told them "you're poor planning and dropping the ball is not my problem"
