Well, it took two tries, but I did get to see the pics. She looks pretty forlorn there, stubbed toe and all. I see they missed covering up one ID marking! Surprised they left the dynamo on, looks like everything else is gone. The headlight conduit hanging down the front just adds to the sad look she has. This must be how the locos looked headed to the scrappers--at least that isn't the fate of 19, and one of her stablemates is an old "friend"; the MCRRR 9. The original press release stated they'd ship the tender back by truck, and the engine itself by rail, guess that's changed! Hopefully they'll get her loaded up before something untowards happens.
