I'm going to assume you're refering to the old 3 story Skykomish Hotel, although my memory says it was painted red. Last time I was up there (it's been a while), it was closed. I assume it still is.

As to the BNSF allowing excursions on the Wenatchee (Pateros)/Orville line, they could OK it but it wouldn't make any difference. The line is operated by RailAmerica as The Cascade and Columbia River, headquartered in Omak. Don't know if they still run daily or on an as needed basis below Omak. Anyone got an answer to that one? They used to run a morning Omak/Oroville turn, then Omak/Wenatchee in the afternoon.

BN signs? I'm guessing they're private crossing signs. That's BN's problem, not WashDot's.
