What a disappointment is Jerry Brown. Nevada interests control him as much as the Tejon Ranch Co. Instead of outright legalizing gambling in California(generating a lot of money) he would rather build a rail line to Vegas, no doubt via base tunnels to Palmdale of all places, so Angelenos can easier drop their social security and welfare checks in Vegas.

So despite all the kvetching by Pelosi and Brown and company they want and need those high risk investments, immortalized by the TARP derivatives, because they need the high yields necessary to keep the 401k's and the teachers pension funds, etc. going.
