Last run down the Monterey Branch in 1999

Here's the last run down the Monterey Branch in June of 1999. The Amtrak talgo trainset came to demonstrate service between San Francisco and Fort Ord. Amtrak 459 leads the talgo near its destination of Ford Ord, California on a typical foggy morning. Shortly afterwards, the switch to the Monterey Branch was severed by Uncle Pete.
