Inside Gateway versus Shasta route

What is the difference in running time from Sacramento to Klamath Falls on the Shasta Route versus the Highline? I know in years gone by it was very common for the Starlight to detour over the Highline. Would make a very interesting trip. BTW, I had tickets on the starlight for next weekend from Martinez to Olympia Lacy. Full refund.
