Municipal court judge must be running for re-election.......?

The DA called is right, based on strong legal precedent, it is a terrible accident that has happened and can happen, due to normal human error, not reckless endangerment, which will be very hard to prove, given the long history of exactly this kind of accident.

These judges can apparently issue arrest warrants, though. And, look at the free publicity he got doing this, regardless of any likely legal outcome, all at taxpayer expense.
