Amtrak had already adopted the airline seat pricing model several years ago. No more All Aboard America fares or consistent pricing; it's likely to change by the moment of the day now. One days' delay in buying meant a $20 dollar increase per seat, roundtrip, for our upcoming Talgo trip to Portland, OR.
