I suppose that it's the county/Caltrans responsibility to clean up the RR crossings themselves, right? Looks like they're cutting off the rail as close to the road as possible and leaving the crossing. That picture of the torn-off crossing gate post (wires sticking out of the ground) looks kind of violent - R rating I think. But they'd better get back there and pull the wires quick before some of the midnight metal thieves get it.
