Short answer is, "don't know." If you don't get any answers, here are a few thoughts:

The amount of water will be dependent on a number of things such as will the unit only be sprayed down or will someone chase around with a brush. Are you talking about cleaning a crusty unit before going into a shop or just general cleaning? Will the water be from a fixed cleaning rack or will someone be walking around with a pressure hose such as at a self-serve carwash?

If using a portable spray hose I suppose you could look up the specifications of a pressure washer and guess the amount of time a person would spend walking around a unit.
