Howdy Charlie,

Your letter brings back memories..I lived in N H and worked for the B&M as telegrapher and towerman..Till 1961.Now I live in Moab UT and still enjoy making videos and stills of trains over Cajon.tehachapi. Mullens pass, Powder river etc.. Am 76 now and still going strong..

Steamtown used to be in Charlestown N H before it moved over the Conn river to Bellows Falls VT.

My 2 children were young then and had a great time on the short sream trip to Chester and return..

Nelson Blount was quite a man and a great Christian.

There is a nice story of his Christian journey in a book titled.

( The Man from Steamtown ) Author James R Adair..

Nelson became a millionaire in the seafood business before he was thirty,.
On August 31st 1967 he was flying his plane to his home in Dublin NH when he crashed and weas killed..

I hope some of you will be able to find this book.It is a great story..
Larry Senter Choochoo1@isp2k..
I will answer all inquirys..
