They are for sure going to need more power. That GP-30 even in good running condition could probably be good for 3 or maybe 4 perlite loads up Howard's Gulch to Ambrose. They might have to quadruple the hill just to get the 12 car train from Canby to Ambrose. Oh did those SP SD-45's sound great with a full load tackling the 2% grade. What a show!
