Why is it a "bummer" that the 4449 is not being considered? The 4449 and other GS4 locomotives were primarily assigned to the Coast Line, not the Overland Route.

While the 4449 is a beautiful locomotive, its relevance to the 150th anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad is very limited. The event is more authentically observed with the replicas of the Jupiter and 119.
