I would have loved to have had this for the Army brass at the 714th. They said all the railroads in Nam were blown up when the French left. Usual BS from upper "leaders"

Was this narrow or meter gauge? I was impressed, once they got moving, they whipped right along. No engine noise except the horn. The track was in good shape, a lot of concrete ties and ribbon rail. The ride was smooth with no lateral at all going over switches. I clocked most of it at maybe around 60 mph? The few slow orders were around 40 ? I gathered all the signals were on the left in approach and it looked like a few interlocking's with long, long throw rods to points or derails.

I was finally able to figure some markers out, I think, and they looked like they may have been Klicks. A few were 5 seconds to the klick.

Thanks for the movie,

Nudge
