Western Pacific had a couple of 1952 radio themes...."Movin' East & I'm Heading West On The Western Pacific Line" and "It's Western Pacific When You're Traveling East." Both touting the Zephyr. Those survive on a video produced by Western Star Productions about 20 years ago from some old WP training films.

SP used to have a jingle on KGO, KSFO in the early 1950's touting the commuter and Coast Line Service....It went something like this.....
Southern Pacific chugga chugga choo choo
Southern Pacific ding ding ding ding
Southern Pacific chugga chugga choo choo
Next time try the train......woo woo
Locally produced by the radio advertising departments I'm sure none of that stuff has survived ?
