Mention was made of the SP theme song. A few years back I researched this song so I could download to my files and contacted the fiddle player on it. He runs - or did run - a musical instrument shop in Guthrie, OK if memory serves me. At the time he said:

Thanks for sending me that clip as I had never seen it before. I wish that was me doing the singing but it was Steve Spurgin. Steve and I were contracted to write that song for SP. Steve and I played together when we lived in LA. I played the fiddle on that track but it was Steve doing the lead vocal who has a great voice and also a good song writer.
