Amtrak safe during government shutdown (if so)

As usual, my local news makes no mention if Amtrak will continue to run.
They did mention thinks like the US Postal Service (which I assume runs very similarly to Amtrak--am I correct?), social security checks, etc. will continue.

Will Amtrak be safe if the US government shuts down?
