A loser troll, peddling bull$hit.....

It didn't really pass my smell test, especially with that follow on line of BS in his responses......

So, you can tell that I am just shocked to learn that this is likely some loser troll.

The SMART current level of ridership is disappointing to me. But, the level and quality of operations still suck, as has much of the marketing of the project, too. SMART's management does not exactly get an A+ grade for the roll out or marketing of this service from me. But, from a real source they are close to very conservative initial projections, So, I'll wait a while, too. As it is my understanding that SMART is planning to use some of funds recently approved for increased service levels, which are badly needed.

The same can be said of the lack of performance on the RCTC/Metrolink-Perris line, where service levels are also insufficient to offer the quality of service needed to attract the potential ridership to justify that capital investment.

Building an expensive line and then running very poor service levels is not a good idea. That is a failure of planning, project management, and political leadership in properly resourcing the operations necessary to achieve the lowest cost seat mile and greatest travel or mobility benefits in these congested corridors.

But then, I like trains....
