bob, you keep comparing Railpac, TRAC and NARP with each other. NARP is the National group and works on national rail issues. Their office is in Wahington DC and they lobby Congress.
TRAC and Railpac are state groups. They each have offices in Sacramento. They work on state and more local rail issues and lobby the State Legislature. Railpac also covers Nevada and, according their newsletter, have meetings in Reno.
NARP & Railpac often have joint meetings and share resources and information and work well with each other. TRAC has been asked to join together with NARP and Railpac, but has refused.
TRAC is a fine group but they seem to be slowing down since Alan Miller left.
Personally, I'd like to see TRAC and Railpac merge together.
I am a member of all three groups, but if your rants are any example of you and your friends at TRAC I may just consider dropping my membership. You don't seem to be making friends for TRAC.
