the back story about the cars preservation and the connection made with NRM is absolutely golden....as certainly is the move and continued preservation.

the longer I live the more the more I am amazed at how important connections/relationships are to our successes with projects like this or life in general. in past years it was called the "old boys network"...but that is how we get things done.

as visitors walk in the door at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center one never (NEVER) knows how that contact, how that discussion, how that interaction will develop or what it will result in.

a Thomas the Tank Engine experience.........who would ever have guessed that Thomas would lead to this outstanding acquisition. Arlen
