Per ABM,
Without getting into much more elementary chemistry than I'd want to circulate on a blog. Yeah, they do that at home before they do the final mix on the plane, and they reportedly had the stuff to do it with. It's not very stable to carry on, but they didn't plan on coming back, and had already made their martyr tapes? Any other bad information that you have on the British peroxide plot that you left out? Have you seen the video on what it did to the air frame they tested in on? Would you care to take the training, or get on even the State OHS's low level clearance distribution list on transit security?
Train photos meanwhile, taken from open public places, not secured areas or trespassing, are not banned, in any circular that I know of. This is the usual paranoid excesses we see with these things, and yes there have been excesses in the name of protecting us. But, the liquids ban on airliners was the response to not just a specific threat, but to a specific attempt to commit terrorism.
