I don't know for sure, but the ex-Train of Tommorrow observation lounge Moon Glow had to be either trucked from Pocatello or shipped on a flat car because as I recall the underbody was completely stripped at the scrapyard, including trucks, couplers, battery boxes, brake equipment, etc. It sat for at least a few years after arrival in Utah on a set of trucks from an ex-UP MW sleeper, most likely an American-series car built in 1942.

I believe the car has been stored at a location in Ogden for may years, but not at the museum. The interior is remarkably intact and considering how long the car sat at the scrapyard, the body is in fairly good shape.
