Thanks for your update. Right after I posted my orginal comments, I got a letter from Railpac, one I assume they sent out to all their members, announcing their support for HSR and asking that I join the campaign and send a contribution. I plan to do both. In fact I spent today at LAUPT passing out a Railpac flyer support HSR. It was a busy day and there seemed to be a lot of support.

Also, I finally got a call back from someone from TRAC and was told that they are also supporting HSR. There were 3 board members that voted no ans "several" that abstained. It seems that TRAC and the California Rail Foundation-(CRF) are no longer allies. With CRF taking control of the newsletter and annual meeting from the previous joint operation with TRAC.

No response on NARP, Bay Rail Alliance, The Transit Coalition, or Southern California Rail Advocates. None of then have anything on their web pages.

I would be disappointed with any rail group that did not support HSR.
