Sierra Ry. 28 was used to substitute for an ailing Baldwin diesel some years ago. Cal Western used 2-8-2 45 to switch to mill @ Fort Bragg in the late 70's. Yreka Western has used 2-8-2 19 a few times recently, but I would expect to see less & less of this with the current slimate.
