That is a good question. Another good question would be what a re the number of potential freight customers would there be if the line opened up to Cloverdale or Ukiah? I can not see why SMART would want them off the line, as they are doing the work at night, not interrupting the daily commutes. Even here in LA, after the Metrolink rush, the freight comes out at night.

BTW, what trouble would someone get into if they put a speaker on the tracks north of Healdsburg to run to Cloverdale?
