As reported on another discussion group, the Reno Branch was finally cleared on September 18th. Apparently the local was taking 8 to 10 cars a day to the Sierra Pacific mill in Quincy. Another poster mentioned that UP started running the MWCPX/MPXWC trains which are mostly lumber products for the Phoenix/Tempe, AZ area.
