Seattle and Tacoma's traffic (as well as other areas) has gotten pretty bad. The non-commute hour has dwindled down to say noon to 1 pm. And now it will be much worse in Seattle with closure of SR 99 for the conversion from the permanently closed Alaskan Way Viaduct to the new improved SR 99 ( a tunnel with less capacity and no downtown exits). A process that will take a least 3 weeks.
