I am not saying everyone is Mental or Anal. I am saying, there are enough people in this hobby/interest group/industry that struggle with relaxing some of their visions for a better good of the hobby.

Because, lets face it, "you cannot run that SD9 on our layout because it doesn't fit the era and is not the correct railroad" is not exactly sane. I am fine with owning some rolling stock that fits the club, but sometimes, my other rolling stock needs to stretch its legs.

I have ran into this with museums. Some museum members take what they are doing a little too serious.

I do contribute to the conservation of trains. I just understand other people have different visions.
