WP-SP Interchange Point in San Francisco After Car Ferry Ended?

Thanks SBN. That's interesting stuff about the interchange. I have seen a couple interchanges listed in the SPINS in the area you are talking about.

Dr. Zarkoff made an excellent point: the period in question is 1979-1985 which were the years that the WP did not have a rail connection to San Francisco. I suppose the interchange track you were talking about could have still been in use. But I imagine there was another one down in the Mission Bay or Islais Creek area, too.

WAF had some good knowledge on the grain trains but that was over at Shinn rather than interchange in San Francisco for the WP to deliver to their few remaining customers.
