I think there is 50-50 chance that 4014 won’t be ready and will not run.

I certainly will not take vacation from work and book a room based on those odds.

Does that make me a “hater”? No.

In every investment decision I look at probabilities, risks and rewards.

The steam shop should have finised the work 6 months ago to make this golden spike event. They are down to the wire with no margin left for error. Remember when the 844 air system did not work as expected and the loco missed its debut?
