… and how long does it take for those "fresh morket peaches, plums and nectarines" to get to the customers???

3 hours after picking, or 3 weeks??

The former can be let on the tree much longer, and will really be edible… the latter… when you can't feel the difference between a nectarine and an apple, something is wrong (but not with the apple)…
