Actually, yes: Warehouse Point (its old name) has an LIRR MP-54 which they used to run on occasion using a trolley pole.

While possible, getting a BARTD car running on 600v would be a huge undertaking because regauging the trucks is almost insurmountable. Finding a standard gauge truck which a BARTD car would sit on might be within the realms of possiblity. At any rate, "stuffed and mounted" is essentially the only option. Since the volunteers like to run their trains, it would amount to a slow, decaying death (out in the elements).
