Santa Fe's early CF-7's re-used the main portion of the cab roof & sides, even retaining the hand - crank side windows. Trucks, Fuel Tank & battery boxes were re-used too, and the 1st CF-7 re-used a long hood, complete with dynamic brakes, from a wrecked GP-7.
The biggest issue with recreating an F-7 would be obtaining or fabricating the truss - sided carbody, as the CF-7 used a new Geep - style underframe with LARGE side plates.
