If you were going to save a CF7 in a museum, what would be the preferred version?

The early ones were cool since they did still have a feel for the F-unit they were made from.

The newer ones were more common so were seen more around the system. Other than there being more headroom in the cab, is there any other advantages of the newer over the old?
