Amtrak ended up with a few round - roof CF-7's, from their trade with Santa Fe for SDP-40-F's. ( Santa Fe surely got the better end of that trade !!! ) All of Amtrak's CF-7's were retired in the early 1990's; most went to Larry's Truck Electric.
