PTC shouldn’t be an issue, my guess is its more inner track fence and temporal separation, the museum has mostly non compliant vehicles and will require a separation from Metrolink. Given Metrolink’s conservative approach to its operation, I’m sure they have discussed with PUC and FRA. 19 foot was the old norm on track centers but new rules call for 25’ on non compliant operations. Perris platform most likely is dead. They should have negotiated with the builder when Perris line was under construction. In this post PTC era, that boat has sailed, board runner or no board runner, SCRRA is gun shy and the operator will prevail. OERM screwed the pooch and the GOVT agency will out game in the end.
