This is interesting news. The owner of Dairyman's feed mill has been very vocal about Petaluma's plans to develop dense housing in an industrial area. He has said in the past they would shut down if housing is allowed bordering his property. Their operations are dusty and noisy with a night shift. Not the kind of place you would want to live next too. The future of the NWP seems bleak. No new rail traffic since they started running almost ten years ago.
