Here's SP/NWP 2472 in San Francisco just before retired, moved to a scrapyard and then resurrected and moved to Larkspur where it rusted and rested on the sleepers. I would see it there quite often when driving by on state highway 101(not a freeway in those days) and fondly think about her being restored. You could say I came up with the idea of restoring her. Thanks to others who had the time to do the work of restoring her, naturally. I am more of an idea man, lead from the front type.
