I spoke with the Governor's staff for about 15 minutes on what was wrong with SB 127, and why it should be veto, last Wednesday, who did you talk to?
My Councilman and I also went over the issues with the proposed "take a lane" bus lanes on Sunday at a soiree he and I were at, the one from Pasadena to Burbank, and I may have some influence, given I've done some of the only operational studies on HOV/Bus Lane benefits in the US.
I didn't need that much of my "influence" though. My Councilman was initially sucked into this "road diet" nonsense, until he saw the modeling of where the traffic went. He seems to understand the concept of "traffic dams", and the impact on voters. And, when you point out that there are no transit benefits in terms of operating time, that might have had some "influence" on his thinking about doing things that seem to piss off voters, with no measurable benefits to average bus speeds in the proposed locations.
I am happily retired, so you have me confused with someone who gives a good $hit what a useless troll like you thinks of me. And, ultimately, I can only conclude from your post, that it is quite apparent that whatever influence you may fear that I may have, is of at least of enough importance to induce a snarky juvenile ignorant response from a useless fool like you....
