CAHSR just announced the purchase of the Bakersfield Homeless Center (5 acres). Does this mean the Bakersfield station is being moved further southeast so that it can pickup Amtrak Thruways and San Joaquins traffic coming in off Truxtun. I guess it had to be if they want to run a Merced to Bakersfield line.
