Dick,

I would imagine that would cost a fair amount of money in resistance and loss through degridation, wouldn't it? Is it possible during non-running times to energize the line at a much lower voltage, perhaps by running a 12 volt DC current in similar fashion to a track signaling sytem, or something like that rather than the normal high voltage current?

Just an idea. I'd hate to see the run to Selah not restored, and operating under the wires is one of the charms of the system.
