St. Maries River Service Reduction

STMA has reportedly cut its train operations down from five days to three days a week. Not surprising given the recent closures of Potlatch's plywood mill in St. Maries, Potlatch's particle board mill in Post Falls (on BNSF's CdA Branch, not on STMA), and other timber production losses in the region. Potlatch is also preparing to sell off vast areas of property in the Idaho panhandle, mainly lands that had been logged years ago and are still not matured for harvesting in the near future.
