I believe that Jim Moore was alive and well the last I heard. In fact, I was asked by some of this ilk, to attend one of their anti road diets meetings, a few months back, and I think they even mentioned he would be there... I actually know well two out of three of these folks personally... both Jim and Wendell.

You know my issues with road diets, and the naïve and overly simplistic "complete streets" dogma. And, it happens that the person who mentioned Jim (and Gen Giuliano, as well) was someone who contacted me, based on some things I'd written about "road diets", to either attend or "present" at an "anti" "road diet" "conference" down somewhere in Playa Del Rey.

This person had naturally "assumed" that I was a "fellow traveler", based on my position opposing most of these arterial road diets, and started bleating his "party line" of horse crap about the "evil transit" to me.

Which, I had no interest in lending my reputation for.
