Tripods could call attention and you be asked not to use them. Los Angeles Union Station, is one of them. To some Tripods say its a commercial shots, which is a no no, without permission/release.

At busy commute times, tripods would be in the way of flow of commuters.

Strobe, not in the face of crew members, train standing or moving. Safety issue.


Fullerton is a great spot. Everyone is aware of the railfans.
