Depends on the availability of repeater equipped units. As a general rule, DPU is limited to around 8500 feet, in order to run the mega trains, the mid-DPU has to have a repeater equipped unit to pass the signal on to the rear units. BNSF has been also running a manifest vehicle train combo out of Pasco. Looks like a Pasco-Northtown then a Portland-??? auto rack train on the rear. Have heard axle counts over 1,000 on detectors on this one.
